We Donate Dumpsters for Community Cleanups, Toy Drives, and Charity Events

We started Wilbert Waste because we wanted to build something that actually meant something to this community — not just a company that hauls debris and cashes checks. The Lowcountry is where we live, where our kids go to school, and where we want to put down roots. That means showing up for it.

If you're organizing something that brings people together to take care of a shared space or support a family in need, we want to be part of it. Here's what we're happy to donate.

Organizing a creek cleanup, roadside litter pickup, park restoration, or neighborhood beautification day? We'll donate the container and cover the disposal fees — no charge to the organizer or the volunteers.

We've seen what gets left behind along Lowcountry roadsides and waterways. It's fixable, and it's worth fixing. If your group is willing to do the work, we'll handle the haul.

We can typically drop a 10-yard container at a central staging point the morning of your event and pick it up the same day or the next morning. Just tell us the location, the date, and roughly how many people you're expecting so we can size it right.

A clean, newer roll-off makes a striking and practical collection point for donation drives — toys, canned goods, clothing, school supplies. If you're running a toy drive for the holidays, a back-to-school supply collection, or a food drive for a local pantry, we're glad to donate the use of one of our cleaner containers as the centerpiece.

We'll drop it, stage it, and pick it up after the event. We just ask that you coordinate with us on timing and that the collected donations are going somewhere real.

Kids love big trucks. We know this firsthand. If you're organizing a touch-a-truck event, a fire station open house, a school fair, or a community festival in Berkeley, Charleston, or Dorchester County, we're happy to bring the truck and let kids climb around it.

Jimmy runs trucks himself, so this isn't a corporate PR visit — it's just us showing up the same way we show up for a job. We'll talk to the kids, answer questions about what we do, and do our best to leave them thinking that trucks are the coolest thing in the world. (They are.)

We're a small company. We can't say yes to everything, and we won't pretend otherwise. But if you're working on something that genuinely serves this community and a dumpster or a truck would make a difference, reach out and tell us about it. The worst we can say is that we're already committed that day.

We prioritize events that are volunteer-led, community-organized, and local to our service area. We don't require any recognition or branding in return — just do the thing.

Email dispatch@wilbertwaste.com with the subject line 'Community donation request' and a brief description of the event — what it is, where, and when. Give us as much lead time as you can; two weeks or more is ideal for scheduling.
