You probably don't need to haul it yourself
Every facility on this page is set up for commercial haulers first. Hours are weekday daytime, you'll be weighed in and out, most charge by the ton with a one-load minimum, and a single prohibited item can get the whole load turned around at the scale. For anything more than a pickup bed of debris, a roll-off that we haul is almost always cheaper once you count fuel, time off, the minimum charge, and the second trip.
When you rent from Wilbert Waste, you rent your container for 3 days to 4 weeks with tonnage included. We pick it up, haul it to the closest facility that takes your material, weigh it, and only bill for tonnage above the allowance — with the live price shown before you book.

Beaver County
Beaver County has no permitted municipal-waste landfill of its own. Loads from Beaver, Aliquippa, Ambridge, Beaver Falls, and the Center/Hopewell suburbs go to the Iron City Express transfer station in Crescent (just across the Ohio River) or to Imperial Landfill in Findlay Township via Route 376 — both short runs, which is why our Beaver County turnaround is as quick as anywhere in Allegheny County.

Which facility takes what
Not every gate takes every load. Here's where each common material can go, based on each operator's published acceptance list.

Our four-county advantage
With seven landfills and ten transfer or recycling facilities spread across the region, almost every address we serve is within a short haul of a gate that takes its material. That means quicker swap-outs, faster turnaround, and lower disposal costs — savings we pass on through flat rental prices with tonnage included across Allegheny, Washington, Westmoreland, and Beaver counties.
Frequently asked questions
Where is the closest landfill to Pittsburgh?
There are four permitted municipal-waste landfills inside Allegheny County: Monroeville Landfill (2841 Broadway Blvd, Monroeville), South Hills Landfill (3100 Hill Rd, South Park), Kelly Run Landfill (1500 Hayden Blvd, Elizabeth), and Imperial Landfill (11 Boggs Rd, Imperial). Which is closest depends on which side of the city you're on — Monroeville for the east, South Hills for the South Hills, Imperial for the airport corridor and Beaver County.
Can I dump a pickup load of construction debris myself?
Most of these facilities accept the public, but hours are weekday-daytime, loads are weighed and billed with a minimum charge, and some reject mixed loads with prohibited items at the scale. For anything bigger than a single pickup load, a roll-off that we haul for you is usually cheaper once you count time, fuel, and the per-load minimum.
How much does it cost to dump at a Pittsburgh-area landfill?
None of the landfills on this list publish their C&D tipping fees — you have to call for a rate, and most charge by the ton with a minimum per load. Only ABC-EZ Containers in McKees Rocks posts a per-ton price and per-item fees online. When you rent from Wilbert Waste, disposal up to the included tonnage is already built into the flat rental price.
Which facility takes yard waste only?
Allegheny Mulch & Compost on Noblestown Road in McDonald takes clean brush, branches, leaves, and grass for a flat per-load fee — no C&D and no household waste. Several WM landfills also accept yard waste in mixed loads.
Do I have to haul to a landfill if I rent a dumpster?
No. When you rent a roll-off from Wilbert Waste, we pick up the loaded container and haul it to the nearest facility that accepts your material, weigh it, and dispose of it legally. Your rental includes a tonnage allowance, so most residential loads never see a separate disposal bill.
